The business started in 1980 in Kent, where Karen specialised in Country pub signs.  Over the years Karen has developed the business and its portfolio to undertake commissions in a wide range of portraits and calligraphy, including manuscripts and bespoke invitations tailored to individual requirements. Karen Orr, trained at Medway College of Art under a Queen Scribe during the late 70’s early 80’s and has built up 38 years’ experience.  Karen can sign-write on any surface, from glass windows to lorries or boats, no matter how big or small.  She also takes commissions for pieces of work ranging from manuscripts to personalised invitations in Calligraphy. Karen also specialises in pastel and painted portraits of any animal or loved one.
